Returns:

  1. Fill out the return form: Fill in and submit the return form no later than 2 weeks after receiving your order. Provide your order number and the email used when placing the order. 
  2. Receive return labels: After submitting the return form, you will receive an email from Eircover with labels attached.
  3. Prepare the shipment: Print the label(s) of shipment and carefully pack the return goods in the original packaging. It is important to return the goods in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and unused.
  4. Attach the labels: Affix the label(s) of shipment to the boxes you are returning. Make sure to place a label on each box for proper identification.
  5. Contact the carrier and pay the return shipment fee: Get in touch with Eircover or the designated carrier to arrange the return shipment. Please note that Eircover does not accept shipments sent Cash on Delivery (COD).
  6. Ship the goods to Eircover: Send the return shipment to the following address:

Important considerations regarding returns:

  • Ensure that the goods are packed securely in the original packaging to avoid any damage during transit. Eircover does not accept return goods that have been packed insufficiently, used, broken, incomplete, or unsellable.

  • Keep in mind that the amount to be refunded will be transferred back to the same means of payment used for the purchase. If you paid with a card, the amount will be transferred back to the account from which the money was debited.
  • There is a risk of not receiving the full refund amount if the value of the product has been reduced. This can occur if the product has been unpacked, the original packaging is missing or broken, the product has been used or damaged while in your care, you have handled the product in a way that goes beyond establishing its type, properties, and functionality, or you have not followed the limitations of the Right of Cancellation as informed by Eircover.

Remember not to unpack a shipment if you wish to return the product. Unpacking the product may result in a reduction in the refund amount, ranging from 25% to 100% of the product’s price.

MARQUEES

Eircover offers two types of covers for our marquees: PE and PVC. PVC covers are similar to truck covers and are known for their high quality. They have a closely knitted structure, feel soft and rubbery, and are 100% watertight. PVC covers are extremely weather-resistant and durable.

PE covers, on the other hand, provide an affordable alternative to PVC. Although slightly stiffer and not as sturdy as PVC, PE covers are still waterproof and durable. They are suitable for occasional use, approximately 1-2 times a year.

A ground bar provides additional strength and stability to your marquee. For this reason, most of Eircover’s larger marquees come with a ground bar included. If you choose a marquee without a ground bar, you have the option to purchase one separately.

When securing your marquee or storage tent with storm straps, you should allocate approximately 2-3 meters of space around the tent. This space allows you to stretch out the straps and secure them to the ground pegs. Alternatively, you can fasten the straps to solid objects like buildings. It’s important to secure the straps only to stable and sturdy objects as they will experience significant tension in case of strong winds. For marquees under 8 meters, we generally recommend using 4 storm straps, and for larger marquees, 6 straps are recommended. Always monitor the weather forecast and consider disassembling your marquee in case of severe weather conditions, particularly strong winds.

Covers described as ‘water resistant’ are designed for use in reasonable weather conditions and for shorter periods. They may not withstand heavy rain or prolonged exposure to moisture. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that a ‘water resistant’ cover will keep out rain when used for an extended time in wet conditions. If you plan to use your marquee or gazebo in various weather conditions, we recommend purchasing a model with a waterproof cover, as these are designed to handle almost all weather conditions. However, it is still important to monitor the weather forecast and disassemble your marquee in case of adverse weather conditions, especially strong winds.

Marquees or shelters with a Fire Certificate have undergone testing and approval according to local fire regulations, specifically the BS 5438:1989 2B Certificate. This certification confirms that the covers meet certain fire safety standards. However, it’s important to note that a Fire Certificate does not indicate resistance to extreme heat. While these marquees will not burst into flames upon contact with open fire, they should still be used responsibly and kept away from sources of high heat.

Opening the sidewalls of your marquee is not a problem. The sidewalls come as one piece for the entire length of the marquee. You have the option to not mount the sidewalls if you prefer an open marquee. With PVC covers, the sidewalls come in sections of 2 meters each. You can choose to mount one or more sections according to your preference. In summary, PVC marquees offer more flexibility when it comes to adjusting between open and closed configurations.

If your marquee cover becomes stained, dirty, or develops mold due to incorrect storage (e.g., storing it when wet), we recommend using PVC/PE cleaner.

We advise against pitching a Eircover marquee permanently. Our marquees are designed as temporary solutions, and any extended or permanent use may void warranty coverage for any flaws or deficiencies.

For more permanent cover solutions, we recommend considering our storage tents and shelters, which are available in various sizes.

We strongly recommend selecting a marquee that is spacious enough to accommodate your planned parties and events. As a general guideline, you can estimate:

– If you do not need tables and chairs inside the marquee, allocate approximately 0.75 m² per person.

– If you plan to have tables and chairs, allocate approximately 1 m² per person.

– Remember to account for additional space for a buffet, bar, music, and other elements, which typically require around 10-20% of the total area.

The assembly and pitching time of your marquee depend on its size and series. Here is a general estimation:

– Flextents: Minimum 1 person, approximately 60 seconds

– 3×6, 4×6, 4×8, 4×10, 5×8, 5×10: Minimum 2 persons, approximately 1 hour

– 5×12, 6×8, 6×10, 6×12: Minimum 3-5 persons, approximately 1.5 hours

– 6×6, 6×12, 6×18, etc.: Minimum 3-5 persons, over 1.5 hours

Please note that these are approximate estimates, and the actual assembly time may vary based on your familiarity with the product and other factors.

The appearance of dew or condensation on the inside of your marquee is a normal occurrence due to temperature changes and moisture in the air and ground. It is not an indication of a leak in your marquee. To minimize condensation, we recommend pitching the marquee on a patio or using one of Eircover’s plastic floors. Additionally, ensuring proper ventilation before your event can help reduce condensation. In cases of significant temperature deviations, condensation may accumulate and fall during the night if the humidity levels in the ground and air are high.

Yes, Eircover offers spare parts for our marquees, including parts for the frame, sidewalls, and roof covers. You can find the specific spare parts as individual products related to the various marquee models in our shop. This way, you can easily find and replace any damaged or missing parts. If you wish to change the look or design of your marquee, you can also purchase new parts such as roof covers and sidewalls.

Yes, every Eircover marquee and storage tent is accompanied by a manual. The manual provides clear and comprehensive instructions for assembly, ensuring the safe and correct setup of your marquee. If you are unable to find your manual please contact with our customer service.

TARPAULINS

At Eircover, we offer a wide range of tarpaulins designed for various purposes. Whether you require a tarpaulin for boat protection or other applications, it’s important to consider your specific needs. When selecting a tarpaulin, pay attention to the grammage per square meter. A higher grammage indicates a more robust and durable tarpaulin. PVC tarpaulins are generally known for their strength and longevity, while PE tarpaulins provide an affordable alternative for less demanding storage solutions. Additionally, you have the option to purchase extra eyelets to replace or reinforce your tarpaulin as needed.

Safety:

Marquees are designed for temporary use during celebrations and special events. It is important to pitch them according to the instructions and for shorter periods. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your rights to any claims.

Regardless of the marquee type you choose, we highly recommend using a Safety Pack from Eircover to further secure your tent. The Safety Pack includes storm straps and ground pegs. While it is crucial not to pitch your marquee in strong winds, it is possible for wind conditions to change after pitching. In such cases, the Safety Pack ensures the stability of your marquee. For marquees under 8 meters, we recommend using 4 storm straps, while marquees over 8 meters should have 6 storm straps. It is also advisable to monitor the weather forecast once your marquee is pitched.

Avoid pitching your tent in severe weather conditions, including strong winds, heavy rain, or snow. If you have already pitched the tent and encounter bad weather, promptly dismantle and fold it up. Ensure the marquee is completely dry before disassembling and packing it to prevent mold and mildew.

The responsibility for adequately securing the tent and preventing any damage or harm to materials and individuals rests solely with the tent owner. Depending on your location, you may need a permit for pitching your marquee or storage tent, especially for larger storage tents. It is your responsibility to obtain any required permits from the local authorities.

Eircover marquees are specifically designed for private use and temporary shelter for up to 150 people. For any other use, it is your responsibility to obtain permits from the appropriate local authorities. Properly securing the tent with storm straps is crucial to prevent any damage to materials or injuries to people. Remember to use 4 storm straps for marquees under 8 meters and 6 storm straps for marquees over 8 meters. Regularly check the weather forecast once your marquee is pitched.

Remember, the marquee is intended for temporary use and should not be used as a permanent shelter. During rainy periods, there is a risk of water accumulating on the roof of the tent, potentially causing collapse. It is your responsibility to ensure the roof cover remains free of water by extending it fully and removing any water buildup. Similarly, during snowy conditions, it is important to remove snow from the tent’s roof to prevent collapse and damage. Always ensure your tent is completely dry before disassembling and packing it to avoid mold and mildew.

Avoid packing or unpacking your tent in sub-zero temperatures as this can cause damage, particularly to tent windows in sidewalls. Open fires, welding equipment, or other sources of ignition should never be used inside or near the tent. We recommend checking if your home contents insurance covers your tent.

Please note that the Eircover warranty only applies to the normal use of the product in accordance with the provided instructions. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, poor maintenance, abuse, unauthorized modification, or exposure to adverse weather conditions.

Yes, your personal information is secure with Eircover, as we adhere to all current data security regulations.
